INTERIM RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT DATE


Xaar plc (LSE:XAR), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in
Cambridge, will be announcing its interim results for the half year ended 30
June 2005 on Wednesday 14 September 2005.


A press briefing will be held at 11.00 am on that day at Bankside Consultants, 
1 Frederick's Place, London EC2R 8AE.


A lunch briefing for analysts will be held at 12.30 pm at the London Stock
Exchange, 10 Paternoster Square, London, EC4M 7LS.
