INTERIM RESULTS ANNOUNCEMENT DATE


Xaar plc (XAR), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in Cambridge,
will be announcing its interim results for the half year ended 30 June 2003 on
Wednesday 24 September 2003.



A press briefing will be held at 11.00 am on that day at Bankside Consultants,
St Mary Abchurch House, 123 Cannon Street, London EC4N 5AU.



A lunch briefing for analysts will be held at 12.30 pm at the offices of
Panmure, Woolgate Exchange, 25 Basinghall Street, London EC2V 5HA.
