QUEEN'S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE
Xaar plc ('Xaar'), the inkjet printing technology group headquartered in
Cambridge, has been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise within the
Innovation Category, recognising its continuing record of achievements in the
innovation and commercial success of its patented piezo-electric inkjet
technology. Established 40 years ago, the Queen's Awards are announced annually
on the Queen's birthday, recognising outstanding achievement from UK-based
industry.
Ian Dinwoodie, CEO, of Xaar, commented: 'The Queen's Award is a tribute to all
the staff at Xaar whose efforts and pioneering work have contributed to both the
technical and commercial success of our inkjet technology.
'Our piezo-electric inkjet technologies have come a long way in recent years and
