SHARP CORPORATION OF JAPAN DISCLOSED AS NEW LICENSEE
Xaar plc, the Cambridge-based inkjet printing technology group,
has today disclosed the identity of its new licensee in Japan as
Sharp Corporation, a world leader in consumer electronics and
office printing. The new licence was announced by Xaar on 24
February 2000, but Xaar was unable to reveal the identity of
Sharp until today.
Graham Wylie, Chief Executive of Xaar said :
'We are delighted to be able to announce the name of Sharp as our
new licensee. They are a highly respected corporation with a
strong market position across a wide range of products. We are
excited at the prospect of Xaars technology being incorporated
into future Sharp products'.
