Further to the recent appointment of John Newton as a director of the Company,
Resmex announces that Mr Newton is interested all of the issued share capital of
Drawone Pty Limited which is a party to a royalty agreement with the Company
dated 2 November 2005. Under the agreement the Company granted to Drawone Pty
Limited a royalty set at 1% of the sales revenue of the Company generated by the
sale of oil, gas and any related petroleum product from certain Australian
exploration permits acquired by the Company from Intermin Resources Limited. The
royalty agreement and the acquisition of the exploration permits are described
in the Company's AIM admission document dated 20 January 2006. To date, no
payments have been made by the Company or are due under this agreement.
