The Company was yesterday notified pursuant to Sections 198-202 of the
Companies Act 1985, that following the sale of certain assets by The Equitable
Life Assurance Society to the Halifax Group plc the Society's holding is now
2,352,941 Ordinary shares representing 3.96% of the Company's issued share
capital.
