Directors' Shareholdings


The Company was notified on 24 September 2003 of the following sales of the
Company's ordinary 5p share ('Ordinary Shares') by directors (and their wives)
all at a price of 87p per Ordinary Share:

Following the above disposals Dr Fairservice and Mr Eldrett are interested in
1,086,082 Ordinary Shares and 938,358 Ordinary Shares respectively representing
3.00 per cent. and 2.59 per cent. respectively of the Company's issued Ordinary
Share capital.


The disposals were undertaken to benefit from Capital Gains Tax Allowances.
