The Company was notified on 30 May 2003, by the Mineworkers' Pension Scheme, of
its shareholding in the Company's ordinary 5p shares ('Ordinary Shares').


As at the close of business on 28 May 2003 the Mineworkers' Pension Scheme held
a total of 1,852,986 Ordinary Shares representing 5.11 per cent. of the
Company's issued Ordinary Share capital. The Ordinary Shares are registered in
the name of the Mineworkers' Pension Scheme (Chase GIS) Nominees Ltd
