The Board of Directors of Zytronic plc announces that Mr John Kennair, a Non-Executive Director and former Chairman and Chief Executive, has decided not to offer himself for re-election at the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting on Thursday 10 February 2011.

Ordinary Resolution 3 - to re-elect John Kennair MBE as a Director - will therefore not be put to the meeting.

Mr Mark Cambridge, Zytronic's Chief Executive since taking over from Mr Kennair in 2008, said:

"John Kennair has been at the heart of Zytronic's development since it was demerged from its parent group and admitted to AIM in 2000. Initially John was Chairman, but he stepped in to act as interim Chief Executive in 2005 before handing over to me in 2008. In those 10 years he has helped to guide the business and its significant development and I would like to pay tribute to the great contribution he has made to the evolution of the business over many years. He has been a great support to me personally and I, and the rest of the Board, wish him well."
