Gem Diamonds is a British-based global diamond mining business. It is headquartered in London and is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Gem Diamond Group owns the Letšeng Diamond mine in Lesotho and the Ghaghoo mine in Botswana, with head offices in the United Kingdom and Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing capabilities in Belgium. Since Gem Diamonds acquired Letšeng in 2006, it has recovered more than 125 greater than 100 carat, rough diamonds.
Gem Diamond Group launched at 1,055p in 2007 on LSE under the ticker GEMD.
