ITV Plc, traded as ITV on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), is a British media company that holds 13 of the 15 regional television licenses that make up the ITV network. Founded on February 2, 2004¹, it is the result of Granada purchasing Carlton following various mergers and acquisitions. ITV Plc, headquartered in London, has a rich history dating back to the establishment of the ITV network in 1955.
