Fidelity Systems PLC

Trading Statement

                     TRADING STATEMENT - December 4th 2009

Despite the shocking weather of the last month I am pleased to be able to
report that Fidelity are "snowed under" with installations and advanced orders.
These have been a mix of orders from local authorities and the higher education
sector. In conjunction with our partner from the Netherlands, Magna Carta
ChipCard Solutions BV, we have also been busy in Northern and Southern Ireland.
Installations have taken place at Apple's headquarters and also at Johnson &
Johnson, both of these being in Cork together with further work at Queens
University, Belfast. The recent installation at the University of Keele has
generated considerable interest, with many potential customers booking
appointments in the new year for site visits. I hope to be able to report
further on this in quarter one.

The RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) based health and safety software we
developed in partnership with a leading local authority is now installed at the
first pilot site prior to a roll out in the new year. Again I look forward to
be able to report more of this exciting opportunity after Christmas.

I am often asked about our continued ability to carry on supplying our clients,
particularly in light of the current economic situation with local authorities
and Universities. To this I can honestly answer that we have never been so
busy. Fidelity's software and systems are designed to save our clients money
and as such are fully cost justifiable with fairly short payback times. The
campus card solution in particular saves money for the universities by
eliminating cash counting, bagging, banking and cash collection services. In
addition the cash can only be spent on campus which again puts sales back into
the system.

As in previous years, subject to satisfactory performance we intend paying an
interim dividend in 2011.

The share price still remains artificially low and in no way reflects the true
value of the company. I intend making this my main priority next year and will
be in contact with all shareholders personally to outline Fidelity's future
with regard to the Plus "Stock Exchange".

I should like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for their hard work
and the shareholders for their ongoing support and to wish them both seasons
greeting and a prosperous new year.

Paul Lowsley
