                     Osborne & Little plc (the 'Company')

On  29  September 2000 Osborne & Little plc bought back 10,000 ordinary shares
(representing  0.16  per cent. of the issued ordinary  share  capital  of  the
Company) at a price of 460p per share.  Following the buy back, there will  be
6,102,965 ordinary shares in issue.
