BOARD RESTRUCTURING

London, 16th October 2000 - Veos plc, the female healthcare company, today
announces the resignation of Linda McGoldrick and Dr Elizabeth Stroebel as
Strategy and Business Development Director and Professional Relations Director
respectively, with immediate effect. 

Ms. McGoldrick will continue her career in international healthcare management
and as an advisor to new, private healthcare ventures.  Dr. Stroebel will
continue her career in clinical and consumer healthcare programmes for
children and young adults. At the same time Robert Wilkinson, previously
Finance & Operations Director, will become Chief Operating Officer to take
responsibility for the broader operational and financial administration of the
Company.  The Company intends to appoint additional management to support the
Board in key operational areas shortly. 

The Board believes that the Company is moving into the implementation phase of
its development leading on from the preparatory work undertaken since
flotation and, alongside streamlining the executive management team, intends
additionally to take advantage of a broad range of out-sourced implementation
skills as it brings its initial products to market.

Commenting on the announcement, Peggy Czyzak-Dannenbaum, Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer, said:

and Liz Stroebel for their contribution in bringing Veos to its current stage
of development.  Their respective reputations, skills and contacts in the
healthcare and clinical worlds in the UK and internationally have been of
substantial assistance to the Company as it has prepared its offering in the
contraceptive and conception aid markets, and we are grateful for their
considerable efforts during this initial phase of the business.  We wish Liz
and Linda well in their wider professional interests.
