Osborne & Little plc was informed on Friday 23 February 2001 that the Osborne
& Little 1986 Pension Fund purchased 60,000 ordinary shares in the Company at
390p on 22 February 2001.


Sir Peter Osborne and Mr Anthony Little have an interest in the 523,000 shares
in the Company held by The Osborne & Little 1986 Pension Fund, representing
8.6 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
