Forever Broadcasting PLC 19 July 2001 Thursday 19th July 2001 PRESS RELEASE Forever Broadcasting plc Board Changes Forever Broadcasting plc ('Forever' or 'the Company'), the Newcastle-based independent radio group, today announces the following Board changes: - Giles Squire, Group Programme Director, has resigned from the Forever Broadcasting plc Board and will be leaving the company with effect from the release of this announcement. The Board would like to thank Giles for his contribution to the establishment and development of Forever Broadcasting. Steve King, Development Director, succeeds Giles as Group Programme Director with immediate effect, and is appointed to the Board. Steve joined the company shortly before flotation last year. Maurice Dobson, Group Sales Director, has notified the Board of his intention to retire from Forever Broadcasting on his 60th birthday, in June 2002. In preparation for this, he is reducing his role and will be assisted in the coming months by Harry Dunne, who will be appointed to the Board as Group Sales Director on Maurice's retirement. Biographical Notes:- Steve King, 44, has worked in the radio industry for 20 years. Prior to joining Forever Broadcasting in June 2000, he worked as the Yorkshire Regional Programme Director for Metro Radio Group plc until 1995, as Managing Director of Radio Aire Ltd in Leeds (an EMAP owned station) from 1995 until early last year, and was Managing Director of Century Radio in Manchester, which he joined in March 2000 until the station was acquired by Capital Radio plc in June 2000. Harry Dunne, 54, has worked in media sales for almost 25 years, and in the radio industry since 1982. He is currently employed by Forever Broadcasting plc as Managing Director of Tower FM Ltd in Bolton, and prior to joining Forever Broadcasting was Group Commercial Director of Border Radio Holdings Ltd from September 1998 until June 2000. Prior to working for Border Radio Holdings, Harry worked for Metro Radio Group plc as Sales Director of its Yorkshire stations, and then from September 1995 as Managing Director of EMAP Radio Yorkshire and then Managing Director of EMAP Radio North East.
