Responsibility or Connected Persons


This notification relates to a transaction notified in accordance with
Disclosure Rules 3.1.4R(1)(a).


On 26th February 2008, Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC received notification that:-



1.  Mr Barry Howard, an Executive Director, has today exercised options
at a price of 37.5p each, over 2,500 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ('Ordinary
Shares') pursuant to the Company's 1994 Approved Share Option Scheme, December
2002 Grant.



    His resultant holding in ordinary shares in the Company is now
157,851 ordinary shares (of which 91,988 are nil paid), representing
approximately 0.0757% of the total issued share capital of the Company and the
total number of shares over which options are held by him is now 115,142.



2.  Miss Angela Wright, PDMR, exercised options at a price of 71.5p, over
15,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') pursuant to the
Company's 1994 Approved Share Option Scheme, March 1998 Grant.



    Her resultant holding in ordinary shares in the Company is now
69,709 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.0334% of the total issued
share capital of the Company and the total number of shares over which options
are held by her is now 28,764.
