Katoro submits Imweru mining licence application

By BFN News | 09:42 AM | Thursday 28 September, 2017

Katoro Gold has submitted the Imweru mining licence application to the Tanzanian ministry of energy and minerals three months ahead of schedule. It said this was possible due to rapid progress with the execution of the Imweru resource development programme combined with the prior relatively advanced development status of the Imweru project. It also said that excellent progress was being made on finalising the updated mineral resource statement for the project and laboratory results for all the geological samples that were collected during the recently completed drill programme had been received, two weeks earlier than expected. It said the technical team was currently in the process of processing data, updating wire frames and block models to produce an updated resource statement and a competent person's report which also represented the final delivery of the resource development programme.
