Rexel sales up in Q3

Electrical supplies distributor Rexel announced sales of €3.4bn in the third quarter of the year, taking overall figures for the first nine months of 2019 to €10.2bn. On a reported basis, sales increased 3.6% for the first three quarters, compared to the same period in 2018, with sales June to September up 3.3%. The company said these numbers reflected solid sales momentum in Canada, key European countries and China. Patrick Berard, chief executive officer, Rexel, said: ?Rexel posted sales growth for the twelfth consecutive quarter in Q3, demonstrating the continuing effectiveness of the various initiatives we have been implementing over the past three years.?
