Synchronica signs deal with Indian manufacturer

Mobile messaging services provider Synchronica plc said it has signed a deal with a leading Indian device manufacturer. Terms were not disclosed. The manufacturer will bundle the white-labelled Synchronica Mobile Gateway with a number of handsets, which it said will enable consumers in India to experience an 'affordable BlackBerry-like service' on a range of devices. Synchronica will receive a monthly per-user hosting fee, in addition to licence fees and a 12-month support and maintenance contract. Shares were up 1.25p at 35p.
