Its strategy is to focus on the development of discoveries located close to existing infrastructure and the exploitation of producing fields, whilst maintaining limited exploration exposure.

 

On 28 December 2016, i3 Energy Limited, the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, acquired a licence from Dana Petroleum (E&P) Limited in the North Sea. Dana drilled a well in the licence area in 2013 and discovered oil at approximately 5,200 feet. i3 intends to develop the field by way of a two well programme and is targeting production of first oil in 2018.
