Strategic Partner Secures Connections for LDES Projects

Frontier Power announces collaboration with Ethos Green Energy to enable pipeline of up to 20 GWh of LDES projects in UK

Further to the announcement of a strategic partnership with Frontier Power ("Frontier") to target multiple bids into the UK LDES Cap and Floor Scheme, Invinity Energy Systems plc (AIM: IES) (AQSE: IES) (OTCQX: IESVF), a leading global manufacturer of utility-grade energy storage, is pleased to note the recent announcement by Frontier that it has signed a joint development agreement with Ethos Green Energy ("Ethos") who will provide exclusive access to multiple connection points with land options to support Frontier Power's development of energy projects.

The agreement between Frontier and Ethos supports up to 20 GWh of Long Duration Energy Storage ("LDES") projects, using multiple technology solutions including flow batteries, with an initial emphasis on battery projects for the UK LDES Cap and Floor Scheme, the first bid window for which opened earlier this month.

Under the strategic partnership between Frontier and Invinity, Frontier has reserved up to 2 GWh of the Company's manufacturing capacity, on a right of first refusal basis, to support multiple project bids it is currently developing for submission into Window 1 of the LDES Cap and Floor Scheme1.

A key part of Frontier's development process is securing land, connections and planning permission and Invinity views this collaboration between Frontier and Ethos positively and a key step forward towards multiple UK LDES Cap and Floor Scheme bid submissions using Invinity's ENDURIUM batteries.
