               AUTONOMY ENTERS INTO LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH FORTIS

Cambridge, UK - 7 March 2008 - Autonomy Corporation plc (LSE: AU. or AU.L), a

that it has entered into a significant license agreement with Fortis to license
Autonomy's Intelligent Data Operating Layer software.
