PRE CLOSING STATEMENT - half year to 28 March 2010
The market trend experienced in the first quarter has continued; February's income was slower but this has been more than made up for in March. The Group's quarterly fee income is dependent on the level of the market on 5 April.
Increased regulatory obligations have seen us investing further in this area. This is a trend that we expect to continue. To reduce our regulatory and capital requirements the Group has changed its FSA permissions to that of a BIPRU €125K Limited Licence Firm.
