Board Update

 

Countryside Properties plc ("Countryside"), a leading UK mixed-tenure developer, announces today that David Howell, Non-Executive Chairman, has informed the Company of his intention to step down from the Board during 2021.

 

The Nomination Committee will commence a process to select a new Chairman to succeed him in due course.

 

Douglas Hurt, Senior Independent Director, said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank David for the contribution he has made to Countryside since its IPO in 2016. The track record of growth since that time has led to a Total Shareholder Return of 115%, one of the strongest in the sector."

 

David Howell, Non-Executive Chairman said: "It has been a privilege to serve as Chairman of Countryside. I wish the Company every success for the future with its strong potential for further profitable growth in the years ahead."
