enterpriseAsia invests in multi-visual advertising light-box project in China



The Directors of enterpriseAsia are pleased to announce its investment in
Topsky Corporation Limited ('Topsky'). Topsky is a Hong Kong based start-up
company in the advertising media business, and will market a new form of
light-box (the 'Light-box') capable of displaying multiple advertising poster
visuals with a 'dissolve' effect based on a patented technology. Future
features being planned for the Light-box include remote control of the poster
visuals and interactive traffic count devices. So, advertisers will not only
be able to program changes to their advertising, they will also have accurate
data on the number of people who have passed the display.

The total investment of enterpriseAsia in Topsky is HK$14 million
(approximately GBP1,261,000) for a 49% interest in its share capital. The
other shareholders of Topsky have extensive experience in marketing and media
as well as good connections with corporate and government institutions in
China; they are expected to participate actively in Topsky's media business.

The head office of Topsky will be in Hong Kong where many multinational brands
base their Greater China headquarters. The production plant for the
Light-boxes will be set up in Guangzhou in southern China. Local sales offices
will be established initially in Shanghai and Guangzhou and later in other
major Chinese cities as market penetration increases. Hong Kong and Taiwan
will follow shortly and there is significant potential for further
international expansion.

According to estimates by Zenithmedia (a leading media agency in China), the
total outdoor advertising media business volume in China is expected to reach
US$1.2 billion in 2001. Because the Light-box's multi-visual effect can give
better cost efficiency and yet offer greater creative potential (as well as
providing a platform for future interactive services), it is anticipated that
Topsky will set the new standard for outdoor advertising. The company
confidently expects to see a rapid take up which will generate early revenues.
