             enterpriseAsia.com plc ('enterpriseAsia') announces
                         appointment of new director

The Board of enterpriseAsia is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr
Philip B.L. Lam, (57) (FCMA, AHKSA, CMA (Canada), ACIS), as a non-executive
director as of 3 July 2001.

Mr Lam is the Director of Finance for the University of Hong Kong, a position
he has held since 1990. His previous jobs have included senior management
positions in the Overseas Bank Canada, based in Vancouver, B.C., as well as
working for the Hang Seng Bank, a principal member of the HSBC Group.

Benjamin Ng, Chief Executive Officer of enterpriseAsia, commented,

'I am delighted to welcome Philip on board as a non-executive director. He
brings a wealth of in-depth experience in the management of financial
resources, useful disciplines in the management of various investment projects
and extensive exposure to academics in the technology and business sectors'.

The Board of enterpriseAsia also announces the resignation of Mr Siu Fai Ng
('Mr Ng') as a non-executive director with immediate effect. The Board would
like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Ng for his wise counsel and
invaluable contribution to the sourcing, evaluation and management of
investment projects for enterpriseAsia. They wish him well for the future.

Finally, the Board also announces that all resolutions were duly passed at the
Company's AGM on 27th June.
