Forever Broadcast

Statement regarding EGM

Forever Broadcasting PLC
23 September 2002

Forever Broadcasting plc (the 'Company' or the 'Group')

Following the announcement on 20 September 2002 that the Company has issued a
notice of an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on 14 October 2002 ('the
EGM'), John Josephs, the Chairman, received a letter by fax later on the same
day, 20 September, from Mr. Wayne Chadwick. In view of the importance of the
letter, the Board believes that shareholders should be made aware of its
contents and the Board's considered response to them well in advance of the EGM.
Accordingly, the full text of Mr. Chadwick's letter, which is marked neither
private nor confidential, is set out below:

'Dear John,

I am writing to you on behalf of former Peak 107 shareholders and others in
connection with your announcement today to call an EGM for the 14th of October.

As you will know from our recent dialogue, we have been looking at alternative
proposals, which include funding options, which might be in the better interests
of all shareholders.

We therefore seek a 14-day postponement of this proposed EGM to enable us to
pursue this strategy and to give us the opportunity to present a coherent
proposal to all shareholders.

Please confirm by return that this requested adjournment is acceptable.

Yours sincerely

(signed) W Chadwick

Wayne Chadwick'

The only proposal made by Mr Chadwick thus far (and repeated in three newspaper
articles) is that all four executive directors of the company should stand down
to be replaced by Mr Chadwick and former directors of Peak 107. No proposals
have been made by Mr Chadwick and his associated parties in relation to funding
although the company's announcement of the 14th August made its cash position
clear and that the executive directors and two founder shareholders would be
injecting £900,000 to supplement the bank's continuance of the existing £3.5m
overdraft.

The Board has given immediate and careful consideration to Mr. Chadwick's
request. The Board remains strongly of the opinion that shareholders should be
given the earliest opportunity to vote on the clear proposals contained in our
circular which will provide the Company with the funding it requires.

The proposals put forward by the Board do not prevent Mr Chadwick, or anyone
else, from presenting firm proposals to the Board.

However, the Board believes that the funding which is available, subject only to
the approval by shareholders to the resolutions set out in the notice of the
EGM, should not be jeopardised by delay and therefore concludes that it would be
in the best interests of shareholders as a whole to proceed with the EGM as
notified.

Mr. Chadwick has been advised of the Board's decision.
