Glass Lewis Recommends Shareholders Vote IN FAVOUR

 of all resolutions at the EGM on 28 June 2011


LONDON - The Board of Hirco Plc (AIM: HRCO) today announces that Glass Lewis, the leading independent governance analysis and proxy voting firm, has supported the Board's recommendation in favour of the resolutions being proposed at the forthcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to be held on 28 June 2011.  The Board recommends that shareholders vote FOR the resolutions which it believes are in the best interests of all shareholders.


Full details of the resolutions and the Board's recommendation is set out in its Circular dated 3 June 2011.


Shareholders are reminded that the deadline for receipt of proxy votes is 11.30 am (London time) on 26 June 2011.
