Kalamazoo Computer Group plc is pleased to announce a
strategic partnership with Oracle, to deliver Oracle
applications to the UK process and discrete manufacturing
markets. This exciting new venture enables both
organisations to take advantage of the growing ERP
opportunities in the SME sector and builds on Kalamazoos
recently formed alliance with IBM. These relationships
reflect Kalamazoos commitment to partnering with industry
leaders to bring its customers the range of world class
solutions they require.

This announcement follows a strategic review of ERP
opportunities and solutions by Kalamazoo. Malcolm Roberts
Kalamazoos Chief Executive said:

'Kalamazoo is implementing a focused strategy for growth,
and our review highlighted the adoption of ERP systems by
medium sized businesses as a key growth opportunity. We spent
considerable time assessing potential partners and concluded
that Oracle offers the strongest overall solution. Kalamazoos
partnership with Oracle allows us to leverage our proven expertise
in the process and discrete manufacturing sectors with a world
class ERP solution. In addition, Oracles web-enabled technology
aligns with Kalamazoos growing e-business capability, and
supports our focus on rapid and cost effective delivery to our
customers of the best solutions available.'

Kalamazoo has worked with Oracle for much of the 90s and
Oracles development tools and database technology lie at
the heart of its software development strategy.

Steve Hurn, director of general business, Oracle UK commented:
'Kalamazoos ability to drive business and deliver customer
excellence, together with its expertise in the process
manufacturing sector, makes Kalamazoo a valuable addition to
our partner programme. Kalamazoos reputation in the niche
market sectors will enable Oracle to maximise its existing
investment in these markets, making a really exciting business
proposition for Oracle, Kalamazoo and our customers.'
