2 Reasons for Increase

Increased amount in funding and management compared to 1999 led to rise in
NIM(Net Interest Margin), and downward trend in interest rates Led to increased
gains in valuation of trading Securities and available-for-sale securities.
Moreover, the equity method gains from Kookmin Credit Card increased
immensely
