RESULT OF GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

 

Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund (MKIF) today advised that the Resolutions as set out in the Notice of the General Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") dated on 24February 2014 were put to the Meeting at 4pm on 17 February 2014 and all duly passed.

Actual voting exercised including voting-in-writing was 215,227,834 shares, representing 65.84% of the total number of voting shares. Above voting results include actual voting and Shadow Voting1 set out in MKIF's

Articles of Incorporation (AOI) Article 25 as the condition of Shadow Voting has been satisfied. 

 

1. According to MKIF's AOI Article (25), a shareholder may exercise his/her voting right in writing; provided, that, in relation to the shareholders who do not exercise his/her voting right, then it will be deemed to exercise his/her voting right which does not affect the result of the voting exercised by the attending shareholders (the "Shadow Voting") under the condition of the total number of shareholders who exercised their voting right on shareholders' meeting being equal to or more than 1/10 of the total number of shares issued.
