Trading Update

Melorio, the support services group providing training and assessment services to the information technology, construction, logistics and healthcare sectors, is pleased to provide the following update.

Further to our announcement on 30 March, Melorio has now successfully opened four new IT academies in response to continued demand from learners, the IT industry and the National Apprenticeship Service.  This takes the total number of IT academies to 31 and the number of IT Apprentices recruited for this intake to over 1,800.

The volume of learners currently undertaking IT and construction Apprenticeships and the strong financial support we have from the National Apprenticeship Service, provides the Board with good visibility over revenue for the next financial year, ending 31 March 2011. The momentum achieved in the training of young people is expected to continue.

Meanwhile, our adult training business is well positioned for the new financial year in each of its vertical markets.

Results for the financial year to 31 March 2010 will be announced on 19 May 2010.
