Telephonetics wins Empire Cinemas multi-year contract 

30 April 2009 - Telephonetics plc, the speech recognition and voice automation specialist, announces today the signing of a multi-year contract with Empire Cinemas Ltd for the supply of its MovieLINE® automatic speech recognition (ASR) ticket booking and information technology solution to all of Empire's 17 UK cinema sites. This win confirms Telephonetics as market leader in the multiplex cinema industry, with the MovieLine product used at five of the six major UK cinema chains.

After a three year long relationship with Eckoh, Empire has decided to switch supplier to major competitor Telephonetics.  Empire will also utilise Telephonetics' state-of-the-art Agent Interface software, which will enable it to seamlessly link the MovieLINE ASR booking service with a new call-centre operation also provided by Telephonetics.

The MovieLINE product is a proven market leading solution that has been developed to meet market requirements, especially customer accessibilityIt has powerful administration and operational back-office tools that ensure timely and valuable data is easily presented to cinema management.
