On February 1, 2008, UBS AG, Zürich, Switzerland, informed us in accordance with
Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG, that its share of the voting rights in ThyssenKrupp AG,
Duisburg and Essen, Germany, (ISIN DE0007500001), have fallen below the 3%
threshold on January 29, 2008, and now amount to 2.30% (which equates to
11,835,434 voting rights). 0.03% of these voting rights (which equates to
163,439 voting rights) are to be attributed to UBS AG in accordance with Art. 22
par. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG.
