Re: Suspension of Redemptions
The Directors of Tremont Capital Management (Ireland) Limited, manager of the Trust wish to announce the temporary suspension of redemption of Units of the Funds in accordance with the terms of the prospectus of the Trust dated 30 April 2008 and the provisions of the Trust's trust deed. Accordingly, the redemption of Units in the Funds will be suspended with immediate effect.
Upon the recommendation of Tremont Partners, Inc., the investment manager of the Trust ('Tremont') and with the approval of the trustee of the Trust, namely, HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Ireland) Limited, the Directors of Tremont Capital Management (Ireland) Limited have determined that redemptions of Units of the Funds be suspended immediately, in order to enable the Directors of the Manager to consider various proposals from Tremont with respect to the Funds and the Unitholdings therein.
The Directors are of the view that a temporary suspension of redemptions of Units in the Funds is in the best interest of Unitholders. The Directors will consider various options for Unitholders and report to Unitholders as soon as possible in relation thereto.
A further announcement will be made in due course as this matter progresses.
