Vedior launches online annual report 2005

Vedior's online annual report 2005 is now available to view at

Vedior is one of the few companies whose annual report is fully optimised and
configured to be viewed via a web browser. While it is quite usual nowadays to
see online annual reports, these are normally quite limited in scope and
functionality. Many companies provide a pdf file to download which is fine if
you want to print out a hard copy but is not very practical to be read on a
computer screen. The other common approach is to create a simple slide show but
this can be cumbersome and provides little in the way of interactive content.

John Nurthen, Vedior's Director of Corporate Affairs said, 'For a lot of
companies, the online annual report comes as an afterthought to the printed
version and they take the easiest option when presenting the printed information
on their website. By using HTML, Flash animation, dynamic hypertext links and a
full featured search engine, Vedior is able to provide investors with easier
navigation and additional user-friendly content. Giving the online annual report
its own individual URL rather than having it buried in our corporate website
also demonstrates the importance Vedior places on the Internet as a
communication medium as part of our active investor relations programme.'

As well as providing financial information, an operational review for the year,
corporate governance and an update on strategic issues, the annual report also
takes the opportunity to explain the advantages of Vedior's unique branding
