BOARD APPOINTMENTS AND CHANGES

London, 16th May 2000 - Veos plc ('Veos'), the female healthcare company,
announces the appointment of Robert Wilkinson as Finance & Operations
Director, Linda McGoldrick as International Marketing Director, and Philip
Sellwood as a Non-Executive Director. 

Robert Wilkinson, aged 41, is replacing Jude Stammers, formerly Finance
Director, who is stepping down to pursue a PhD. Robert joined Veos in November
1999 as Group Secretary and Financial Controller from Niagara Holdings plc, a
direct sales medical devices business. He is a member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and of the Association of Corporate
Treasurers. He was heavily involved in the Company's flotation in December
1999.

Linda McGoldrick, aged 45, previously Operations Director now has
responsibility as International Marketing Director in order to support the
Company's increasing opportunities for product development and marketing both
in Europe and the United States.

Philip Sellwood, aged 46, has been appointed Non-Executive Director. He is
Director of Corporate Strategy of Marks & Spencer plc, with responsibility for
support, development and systematic evaluation of competitive strategy for the
group. He has previously been Divisional Director of Direct Marketing and
E-Commerce, Homeware and Food respectively between 1989 and 1999, having
commenced his career with Marks & Spencer in 1977. He is also currently a
Non-Executive Director of Marks & Spencer Financial Services plc. He is a
Master of Business Administration (Distinction), London 1986-88.

Commenting on the announcement, Peggy Czyzak-Dannenbaum, Chairman of Veos,

management team and provide additional skills and resources to assist in the
next stage of development of the Company. We are very grateful for Jude
Stammer's contribution and guidance during the IPO process and wish her well
in her future studies and career. We are delighted to welcome Robert and
Philip to the Board, and Linda to her new position, and believe that all three
will make significant contributions to our progress. In particular, we are
pleased that we will be able to benefit from Philip's extensive retail and
strategic experience with Marks & Spencer as a strong and guiding hand on the
Board.'

Other than as disclosed above neither Mr Wilkinson nor Mr Sellwood have been a
Director or Partner of any company within the last five years.

Mr Wilkinson and Mr Sellwood have no unspent convictions in relation to
indictable offences, have not been declared bankrupt or entered into any
individual voluntary arrangements with their creditors, nor have they been a
Director or Partner of any company or partnership which, at the time, or
within 12 months of their ceasing to be Director or Partner, became bankrupt,
had a receiver appointed, went into compulsory arrangements or any composition
of arrangement with its creditors generally or any class thereof.

Mr Wilkinson and Mr Sellwood have not been subject to any public criticism by
statutory or regulatory authorities and have not been disqualified by a court
from acting as a Director or from acting in the management or conduct of the
