                                   VIMIO PLC

                          ("Vimio" or the "Company")

                      AGREEMENT WITH BHARTI TELESOFT LTD.

Vimio plc, a leading provider of media distribution solutions and content to
mobile network operators, which was admitted to trading on AIM in September
2005, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Bharti
Telesoft Ltd ("Bharti Telesoft"), an Indian software group, to deploy TV
services to mobile phone users in the Indian market.

Vimio's technology enables live TV to be streamed to mobile phones over GPRS,
Edge and 3G technologies.

Bharti Telesoft provides a range of value added products and solutions and
business support systems to mobile network operators around the world. To date,
it has deployed products and solutions in over 35 countries on over 100
networks, enabling service provision to 150 million users across 5 continents.
Bharti Telesoft's products enable service providers to offer differentiated
services, reduce customer churn, increase ARPU (Average Revenue per User) and
assist operators in generating significant sustainable new revenue streams.

Bharti Telesoft and Vimio have commenced the implementation of the
infrastructure required to deploy live TV on mobile phones in India. Both
companies have committed to work together to address the needs of the Indian
mobile phone market.

At the end of 2005, there were an estimated 75.3 million mobile subscribers in
India, up from 48 million a year earlier, which represents an annual increase
of 47 per cent. Market researcher iSuppli predicts that the total mobile
subscriber base in India will rise to 278 million by 2010, a cellular
penetration rate of 23.9 per cent of the forecast population.

Malachy Harkin, Chief Executive of Vimio, commented:

"This first stage roll out of live TVin Indiais significant for Vimio. With
long term exponential growth in mobile phone usage predicted, India is an
extremely important market for any supplier to the mobile phone industry. We
would expect commercial deployment of live TV to be rolled out in early 2007

"Once launched, ourlive TV service will have the potential to reach all mobile
phone users in the second largest population in the world - which would clearly
be a major step forward for Vimio and its partners."

Sanjiv Mital, Chief Executive of Bharti Telesoft, commented:

"We are excited to be strengthening our content proposition for our Indian
customers and believe there is great potential for delivering live TV to a
mobile phone. Indian subscribers have been very quick to take up new,
innovative mobile services and offering the latest in infotainment and live TV
will certainly address this demand."
