VODAFONE-PANAFON ANNOUNCES MMS NETWORK READINESS FOR
                   INTEROPERABILITY WITH COSMOTE AND TELESTET

Vodafone announces that it has successfully completed network interoperability
with Comsote and Telestet for the exchange of Multimedia Messages (MMS).

Interoperability is expected to contribute significantly to the success and
growth of MMS, as there will be no restrictions on users sending MMS messages
between different networks.

MMS is an evolution of SMS and offers the ability to send colour pictures, sound
and text without limitations on the number of characters used. MMS
interoperability, in conjunction with both the recent launch of Vodafone live!
in the Greek market and with the ever-increasing variety and number of mobile
devices supporting MMS, is expected to stimulate further the positive response
received from customers to date.
