                                 WARTHOG PLC

                          ('Warthog' or 'the Group')

WARTHOG SIGNS EXCLUSIVE DEAL WITH NEWKIDCO FOR PLAYSTATION 2 GAME FEATURING
E.T.'S RETURN TO HIS HOME PLANET

Warthog plc, the interactive entertainment software group, today announced
that it has signed an exclusive deal with leading children's video game
publisher, NewKidCo International Inc., to develop a game based on E.T. The
Extra Terrestrial for PlayStation 2.

Warthog was contracted directly by NewKidCo, who entered into an exclusive
multi-year agreement with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group and Amblin
Entertainment to develop and publish interactive entertainment titles in
celebration of the 20th Anniversary release of Steven Spielberg's beloved
classic, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. In March 2002, Universal Pictures and
Amblin Entertainment will re-release E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial in a new
edition that includes never-before-seen footage, state-of-the-art
computer-generated enhancements and a digitally-remixed soundtrack.

Directed by Spielberg from a screenplay by Melissa Mathison and produced by
Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy, E.T. is the touching story of a lost little
visitor from another planet who is befriended and protected by a young boy.
Together, they find a way to return the young alien home. The film co-starred
Dee Wallace-Stone, Henry Thomas, Peter Coyote, Robert MacNaughton and Drew
Barrymore.

The game; 'E.T. Return to the Green Planet' draws its inspiration from the
book 'The Storybook of the Green Planet'. The book tells of the E.T.'s
adventures on his home planet, after leaving Earth at the end of the film. The
game will demand thought and intuition from its audience and will show E.T.
exploring a rich and colourful environment thanks to the processing power of
the PlayStation 2.

Commenting, Ashley Hall, CEO at Warthog, said:

'We are delighted to have been chosen to develop NewKidCo's 'show-piece' E.T.
PlayStation 2 product. The popularity of E.T. is as strong as ever and the
long awaited re-release of the film is highly anticipated.'

NewKidCo's Paul Samulski, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer
added:

'Warthog has proven, not only to us, but also to the rest of the industry that
they can transform rich screen properties into compelling and entertaining
video games on schedule and within budget. That, and the fact that they have
continually impressed us with their ability to take full advantage of new
technology, made them an obvious choice for this specific SKU within our E.T.
line.'
