                                PRESS RELEASE

                                 WARTHOG PLC

                          ('Warthog' or 'the Group')

                              SHOW 'BATTLEBOTS'.

Warthog plc, the interactive entertainment software group, has signed an
agreement with THQ to develop video games based on the US television show, '
Battlebots'. The deal requires Warthog to develop two versions of the game,
one for PlayStation 2 and one for Nintendo's new GameCube console.

This is Warthog's first deal with THQ, a worldwide premier developer and
publisher of interactive entertainment software.

'Battlebots' pitches fan-built robots fighting against each other in
gladiatorial battles that take place in peril-laden arenas. 'Battlebots' was
first aired in the USA in 1999 and has risen to the third highest rated sports
programme on cable television in the USA, watched by 3.5 million viewers each
week. In the UK, the show has a regular slot on BBC2.

The games will remain true to the spirit of the show and enable players to
construct their own robots and arenas before battling it out between friends
or computer-controlled opponents.

Commenting on the deal, Ashley Hall, Managing Director of Warthog, said:

' We are very pleased to announce this deal with THQ. They have built an
unrivalled reputation for turning existing franchises into video game
blockbusters by matching leading properties to gameplay that is innovative and

Scott Krager, Executive Producer,THQ added:

'We are delighted to award this contract with Warthog and look forward to
delivering all the excitement of the BattleBots arena to the next-generation
of console gaming.'
