Warthog, one of Europe's leading independent games software companies has
announced their involvement in the production of a new TV quiz show, 'The

The contract results from Warthog's collaboration with TV production company
Multi Media Arts, which was announced in June last year. 'The Machine' will run
for  26 episodes from  25th July and will be shown on UK terrestrial channel
ITV1. The Show is hosted by an animated 3D Cyborg set in a studio that combines
physical and virtual elements.  Contestants sit in front of the 'Machine' and
are asked as many questions as they can answer within 150-second rounds. The

Warthog and Multi Media Arts created 'The Machine', an automated quiz master
which fires randomly selected, multiple-choice questions at the contestants and
then captures the responses in real-time scoring and timing systems.

Warthog's VP, Tim Coupe, said:

 'This is a great start to our collaboration with Multi Media Arts and perfectly
illustrates the overlap between games and TV entertainment. We are currently
working on several other projects which exploit the skills and experience of
both companies and industries.'
