TV Series Commission Awards

Zinc Media is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Tern Television Productions Limited ("Tern Television"), has been commissioned to make a new eight 60-minute part science detective series and has been recommissioned to make another 'From Hell' series; two hour long episodes entitled 'Holidays From Hell' and 'Roads From Hell', both for Channel 4.

The science series, which is also being acquired by leading global distributor DCD as an international pre-sale, combines cutting edge forensics and DNA analysis to reveal historic crime mysteries. These series will be made by Tern TV's Northern Ireland production office and reinforce Tern's position as a leading dual-Nation supplier based in Scotland and Northern Ireland.  Combined, the commissions are worth over £1.3 million in revenue to the Group.

David Galan, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

"These commissions serve to highlight and reinforce our strategy of securing long-running series and also to demonstrate our strength as one of the UK's leading 'nations and regions' producers."
